25 Sep Waltham Forest, Welcome to Urbo
Dockless bike sharing is coming to Waltham Forest, London
As you may have already heard, Urbo are launching in Waltham Forest, London on the 31st of October. The Urbo team are delighted to have such a great area as our first pilot location. We’re looking forward to getting to know the community and area even more over the coming months.
For those of you who haven’t met Urbo yet, we’re a dockless bike sharing provider. If you’re unsure how to use Urbo, you can find out all you need to know here.
The main reason Urbo have come to Waltham Forest is to enrich the borough and the lives of its inhabitants. We really want to get to know the community and become an important part of its infrastructure. Initially, there will be 250 bikes available to the public, with the figure increasing as demand is validated.
Urbo has already identified the challenges facing dockless bike sharing and has come up with several strategies and policies to address these challenges. Parking is the main concern amongst the public, which has led to Urbo introducing the “Park Safe” strategy. This strategy uses real-time analytics to tell our Urbo team on the ground when a bike is parked incorrectly, or a parking area is too full or empty. This allows our team on the ground to rectify the issue in a timely manner.
Data protection is also a common public concern. However, you can rest assured your data is safely stored between Ireland and The United Kingdom. You can read more about our data framework here.
Urbo are here to listen to any and all feedback the people of Waltham Forest have. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns – firstname.lastname@example.org
